Alvise Pascucci (Pianist)
Hailed by music critics as "an outstanding young pianist who possesses a virtuoso technique as well as musicianship of the highest order," Alvise Pascucci is a decorated Italian pianist with a vast repertoire spanning from Baroque to contemporary music. He is the winner of over 60 national and international awards, with recent first-prize victories at the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition and the International Franz Liszt Center Online Piano Competition.
Mr. Pascucci has graced prestigious stages worldwide, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, Steinway Hall in London, and the Gnessin Academy of Music concert hall in Moscow. His career as a soloist includes collaborations with the Taipei Philharmonia Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Ploiesti, and the Orchestra Città di Grosseto.
Alvise's comprehensive musical training includes degrees from Italy's St. Cecilia Conservatoire (in violin), R. Franci Conservatoire, P. Mascagni Conservatoire, the Chigiana Academy, and the International Piano Academy of Imola. He continued his studies in the UK with Martino Tirimo at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of London before relocating to the United States. He holds a Performer Diploma from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he studied with Roberto Plano, and is currently a DMA candidate (ABD, graduating in 2025) and a prestigious Chancellor’s Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the tutelage of Paul Berkowitz. Since September 2024, he has served as the Principal Collaborative Pianist for the Sing! project at the Music Academy of the West.
